چکیده
which is used to detect (but not in general to correct) single errors (i.e. errors in one component) and other errors of certain patterns (discussed below). Historically, among the first publications1 are articles by FRIEDMAN & MENDELSOHN (1932; cf. [9]) based on code–tables (after an International Telegraph conference) and by Rudolf SCHAUFFLER (1956; cf. [19]) using algebraic structures. In his book VERHOEFF (1969; cf. [27]) presented basic results which are in use up to the present time.

Totally anti - symmetric quasigroups for all
A quasigroup (Q, ∗) is called totally anti-symmetric if (c ∗ x) ∗ y = (c ∗ y) ∗ x⇒ x = y and x∗y = y∗x⇒ x = y. A totally anti-symmetric quasigroup can be used for the definition of a check digit system. Ecker and Poch [9] conjectured that there are no totally anti-symmetric quasigroups of order 4k + 2. This article will completely disprove their conjecture (except for n = 2, 6) as we will give ...
متن کاملWeak convergence theorems for symmetric generalized hybrid mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces
In this paper, we prove some theorems related to properties of generalized symmetric hybrid mappings in Banach spaces. Using Banach limits, we prove a fixed point theorem for symmetric generalized hybrid mappings in Banach spaces. Moreover, we prove some weak convergence theorems for such mappings by using Ishikawa iteration method in a uniformly convex Banach space.
متن کاملOn single valued neutrosophic relations
Smarandache initiated neutrosophic sets (NSs) which can be used as a mathematical tool for dealing with indeterminate and inconsistent information. In order to apply NSs conveniently, single valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs) were proposed by Wang et al. In this paper, we propose single valued neutrosophic relations (SVNRs) and study their properties. The notions of anti-reflexive kernel, symmetr...
متن کاملKernels and closures of soft set relations, and soft set relation mappings
In this paper, the notions of anti-reflexive kernel, symmetric kernel, reflexive closure, and symmetric closure of a soft set relation are first introduced, respectively. Then, their accurate calculation formulae and some properties are obtained. Finally, soft set relation mappings and inverse soft set relationmappings are proposed, and some related properties are discussed. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd...
متن کاملOn mapping models of field lines in a stochastic magnetic field
Mapping models of Hamiltonian systems are discussed using the example of magnetic field lines in magnetically confined fusion plasmas. They are usually constructed in a certain symplectic form by imposing several constraints that make them compatible with a toroidal geometry. The possible symplectic forms of model mappings for Hamiltonian systems are derived using the recently developed method ...
